Reviews
Nura was an amazing spot to have date night and our server, AC, was absolutely amazing.
Although the portions were a little underwhelming— the food was really great and plated to perfection. The dishes were simply crafted yet satisfying and delicious.
The open kitchen concept was beautiful, as well as the bathrooms and all the decor.
We did have to wait 45 minutes after our reservation to be able to sit at a decent table, but nonetheless AC definitely made up for our wait time.
Thank you!
Nura has a wonderful vibe inside, great for a nice dinner. The drinks were tasty and unique. overall I enjoyed the experience however there was nothing standout about the food. The dips and bread were a standout for sure, but nothing groundbreaking. Lamb kofta was the standout dish of the evening. I’d recommend checking it out for a good dinner but if you’re looking for more unique flavors/ dishes you may want to look elsewhere
I’d been wishing to come here for over a year and finally made it - Nura exceeded my expectations and I truly enjoyed my experience. It’s a great spot for sharing plates, a first date, or just a casual meal. They have a gorgeous central bar, side lounge areas where folks gathered for drinks while they waited for a table, and cute tables tucked between foliage and lights. The lamb kofta melt in your mouth and the candied coriander in the fluke crudo was especially memorable. Lastly, the honey tamarind ribs were a top notch way to round out our meal. Also kudos on the creme brûlée being perfectly balanced with orange blossom essence and not overpowering at all. Will definitely be back again soon!
Great date night spot in Williamsburg. We walked in on a Friday night and easily got two seats at the bar. Super cool space with high ceilings and eclectic decor.
While the menu is quite consolidated and the portions are on the smaller side, each dish we had was packed with flavor.
We ordered:
-3 Dips + cornbread (tiny pieces)
-Fluke crudo: super delicious & spicy
-Chicken which was cooked in a delicious broth
Definitely would recommend trying it out.
We came here for brunch and overall it was great. The food was really good, I had the buttered chicken sausage that I really recommend and a fresh grapefruit juice. The service could have been tiny bit better but everyone is nice. We ordered some marinated olives to nibble before our main, but they arrived after the main dish which didn’t make much sense. Overall the place and the food are great and will most likely come back to try the dinner menu at some point.
The naan is amazing. The pickles are great. All dishes were very tasty some just not so photogenic :)
The place has a great vibe with a cool audience.
I loved my time at Nura. The server was informative and charming. The food was awesome. We got the breads and dip, the sweet potatoes, and the squash dish. It was the perfect amount for us two. Ambiance was on point, music was good, everyone working there was very friendly. I’m just blown away. Honestly I have lived here 7 months now and this is the best food I had here so far, no cap.
I was a little skeptical to try this spot at first. Everything about it just screamed another gentrified Williamsburg restaurant for a specific crowd. However, food was surprisingly delicious. Seemed like there was a science behind the ingredients because of how well everything went together. It was fun and carefully balanced between Indian and American flavors. I almost hated myself for liking the food so much. Definitely worth a try.
